I am now onto my third pair of Adidas Duramo runners. I run 350 to 300 km per month and I easily get in excess of 1000 km out of these runners. I was surprised with first pair when checking up that they were just under 1000 km and were not showing any signs of wear and tear. I am wearing them tomorrow in the Two Bays trail run over a 28 km course on the Mornington Peninsula (and then I will retire them from running).
The sole of the runner is extremely durable. There is very little wear and tear after I have finished with them for running.
I will then use the runners for cycling for quite some time after I retire them.
The runners are extremely comfortable and allow my foot to have natural movement inside if I don't lace them too tightly.
Great runners and I will keep buying them.

I purchased these as a gift to my dad and he loved them. he has a wide foot but these shoes were the perfect fit and are extremely comfortable. they're great to wear under anything and I recommend them to anyone who wants something lightweight and for someone with s wider foot. great design by adidas! happy customer

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jason83 Amazing Value for Money!
Got a pair of these today, and am very pleased with them. I bought these as my first pair of Adidas running shoes, and to tide me over until I get some custom Supernova Glide Boosts made.
They are a nice snug fit and give great support around the mid foot. They also seem to weigh about half as much as my generic trainers I was previously running in, and are far more comfortable.
A nice little spring in the step too; they absorb impact very well to keep your feet comfy on a run.
Had to go half a size bigger than some other Adidas lines to find the correct fit length wise, but can't fault them for this.
Great little running shoes, and very affordable. ABSOLUTE BARGAIN! :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by StephenB Some Interesting Characteristics
These shoes seem to be missing removable insoles given that the only insole is sewn to the footbed. An information card attached to a shoe refers to ortholite insoles, and so I'm uncertain if a user is to purchase these insoles to go with these shoes. The other odd characteristic is a fairly thin sole made from adiPRENE+ which "... is a lightweight, highly durable cushioning material located in the forefoot area of most technical adidas footwear products." To me this seems to provide insufficient cushioning; however, it does contribute to the relatively light weight of these shoes. Finally, I could see the knuckle of one toe (on each foot) flexing upward which indicated to me that these shoes were just a bit short/tight from my usual adidas sizing. The orange color is great, and the weight is very appealing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kernowdude Lightweight shoe but no insoles?
First impression when I received these shoes were good. They are finished nicely, very lightweight and a good fit if a little tight. However, as one other reviewer has mentioned, there is no Ortholite removable insoles in these trainers? The small card attached to the shoe suggest that there should be insoles in the shoes, but its just a sown in flat shoe bed. The problem is there is no arch support at all and as a running shoe, I would expect this as standard. I'm not sure if the insoles are missing or if the shoe bed is the insole? To use these for running, I would have to purchase a pair of insoles with arch support. I spoke to customer services and they are looking into it. Good price, but factor in the extra cash for some good insoles, maybe not such a good buy!

As a sprinter, I mostly wear spikes, but I have to say, these are a good pair of shoes, for beginners or experienced runners. They have good support so if have under or over pronating feet then these would be ideal for you.

Great shoe, strong, very comfortable. There is a slight lack of bounce in the sole but this is not a major problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dfunk My favourite pair of shoes to run in
The Duramo 6 are without a doubt my favourite pair of shoes to run in. They fit great and are true to size. In the past, I've worn other types of Adidas and Nike runners and they've always given me pains in my feet and eventually in my knees. Since I've started wearing the Duramo 6 shoes 6 months ago, I haven't experienced any pains in my feet or knees. As well, they're very durable and hold up very well to running in them everyday. The treads show very little wear on them however, I do only use them indoors on the treadmill at the gym. For the relatively low price and good quality you get with these shoe, I highly recommend the Duramo 6 for everyone.
