Rated 5 out of 5 by Numbers Same great sole; more plush upper
I purchased the original Boost shoes when they came out last year and absolutely love them. Although v1.0 and v2.0 look the same, there are some significant differences between the two versions.
The new shoe fits much more true to size. I originally ordered my v2.0 shoes a 1/2 size larger than normal, as I did for v1.0, but this was a mistake. The new shoes run much more true to size, so I returned them and purchased the shoe in the size I normally wear. These fit great.
The upper is also much more plush on v2.0 than v1.0, especially in the tongue. While the added material means that the new shoe doesn't quite feel as much like an extension of your foot as the original; the update feels great and seems to correct the pressure point issues some runners experienced with v1.0. Also, the v2.0 shoes seem to sit a little higher off of the ground than the originals.
That said, the feel of the shoe and cushioning are just as good as in the original. Love these shoes and think that they're the best looking Boosts yet. Will definitely buy another pair when these need to be replaced.

I never considered adidas for running shoes for long distance running and was recommended this at local running store.
Its a good shoe, light and cushy, however, personally I would want more forefoot cushioning so that the offset would become 4-6mm and not present 10mm.
I really like the upper and how it wraps your foot so that it feels really solid on turns no slippage. Did a long run and no discomfort , but its too early to tell if there will be cumulative damage overtime due to light forefoot cushioning.
Definitely buy 1/2 size up, the general fit is great as much as I'm thinking running without socks.

I am 200+ pounds, 5'11", and was looking for a shoe that would help with the impact my weight puts on my back and legs when jogging.
This shoe has a really good sole. It's good from the moment you put it on.. but it really shines after the first couple of miles of your run.
That when I feel it really respond.. when I start going faster and my feet hit the ground harder.
There are things I wish were better, but it's more about personal taste. If it fits your foot well, it's a good running shoe to add to your collection.
My wish list:
I wish the arch was just a touch wider.
I wish the outer sole looked better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Redleg Runner Buy This Shoe!
As an active duty member of the armed forces I have been running for over twenty years. I've tried every brand, seen every running shoe fad from super technical to minimalist and everything in between. While I was deployed recently my wife sent me a pair of Boost shoes (version 1.0) that she bought at the local post exchange. She told me about them and I was VERY skeptical. Until they arrived and I took them out of the box and ran 5 miles....and it was GLORIOUS. These are the lightest, best fitting, and most responsive shoes I have ever owned. I'm a large frame dude who is a mild over pronator and these work great for me. I'm on my third pair and have even got my wife hooked and them as well. In short....run one time in these shoes and you'll never go back to anything else.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Munamankeli Comfy shoe for recovery and easy runs
Comfortable thanks to flexible forefoot material and Boost midsole. Suitable for relatively slow pace from 4.30 min/km and above. The shoe is so bouncy and sturdy that tempo runs and especially intervals must be done wearing adios Boost or similar racing flat.
Some say the fit is snug but I would say it fits like a glove thanks to clever upper material. However, check sizing and try 'em before buying.

I bought these to help alleviate knee and ankle pain when running. Luckily I tried on a pair before I bought them. I went a whole size larger then my regular size to make up for the narrow arch area. And it still very snug. I don't even pull the shoestrings very tight when I tie them. So I have ample room in the toe area, loose on top of the shoe, but tight at the arch. Strange.
The foam midsole does seem to work with the discomfort I have where the screws are inserted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gus_ This are the best
These are the best purchase I have made ever. I am a serious runner, putting in 15-25 miles a week, and I can notice the difference in my run. I am faster, I barely notice the impact on my feet and my knees barely hurt. I reccomend these amazing running shoes to anyone who is serious about putting in a few miles into their run.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Simon Martin Tightness around stripes casued blisters
Meant for my longer training runs of 13.1 or more, I wore these three times and each time they caused blisters on the outside of my right foot where the stripes are. A great shame because they felt really great to run in. As a result, I changed to the BoostGlide for longer training runs and the fit is much better. Adidas, please remember that some runners need broader fitting shoes - it would be great to have the broad option for all types.

I am going to be absolutely straight with you, these Energy Boost 2.0 shoes are second-to-none when it comes to comfort, fit, style, and over all performance. You will be hard pressed to find another shoe that performs as well.
Do your feet a favor and try a pair!
