Up side : The fit is a bit tight but i like. The feeling when your feet hit the ground is really good, I have some knee (Runner's Knee Diagnosis) issues and it help me heal from it. I ran a 5miles without pain or suffering any discomfort. I'm a 5km to 10km runner, 3 times a week, with a pace of 5min20s / Km. These shoes are perfect for that kind of running.
Down side : God the color is ugly. I bought the solar red one and there's no way it's red. It's pink, big time pink. It would probably taste something if I lick them.. bubble gum or something. I'm really disappointed about that. See the attached pictures. i recommend these shoes but should've ordered the black and white one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SAAgRunner Fantastic energy return - watch out for Solar Red
I originally purchased this shoe in Solar Red. Let me tell you. There is no red in that shoe. It's pink. Hot pink. My 4 1/2 y/o son said "Daddy, why did you buy pink shoes?". So, if a child thinks its pink...its pink. HOWEVER, after returning those and getting the Black/White pair, the shoes have been fantastic running in. I've put about 50 miles in them so far and they are holding up great and really have a great energy return, especially as you increase your pace. They are light and wrap your foot rather well. As others have pointed out, they do feel pretty tight. I wear a size 15 shoe and this is borderline too small for me and unfortunately they don't make a size 16. However, my feet aren't moving around in the shoe thus not causing blisters, so that is a plus. The only downside that I've seen so far is there is little traction on any wet surface.

I swear by all adidas product and the boost line of running shoes has done nothing but exceed expectations. I've had boost since the first generation shoe was released almost 2 years ago, and have loved the responsiveness and cushion the shoe provided. The tech fit upper in the 1st gen. made it feel like a second skin hugging your feet, but the new ESM on this 2.0 Boost is an even better treat than the regular tech fit. More breathable and versatile, it only makes a perfect running shoe even more perfect. I can only say so much by personal experience, so I say buy a pair of Boost's and surely you'll never go back to your old running shoes ever again.

The shoe does exactly what it says on the box. I spent a lot of time on choosing the right running shoes. Must admit I took a risk with adidas, but I do not regret my decision, so far so good, works perfect for me, no blisters, no uncomfortable rubbing etc..the shoe hugs your feet. Upper fits perfect in my case, I havnt got a wide nor narrow feet, more like a normal. And the midsole is making this shoe ideal, You just dont want to stop running;-)
I have ordered half size up than my previous ascics, fits just perfect. 10 oout of 10 from me. Well done adidas

Rated 1 out of 5 by gravityvox Huge Disappointment
If you wore the original Energy Boost and expect the same feel from this shoe, you will be hugely disappointed. After 3 days of using them, my left ankle is getting a slight sore spot (which NEVER happened with the original Energy Boost) not to mention I can't wear the shoes without discomfort because the tops of my feet are sore from the eyelet design. I want to ad that when I first put the shoes on, they seemed to fit well. I am returning these shoes. Will try to order some old Energy Boost on line somewhere and then at some point. I expected the new improved Energy Boost to at least give me the same pleasure out of running but Adidas failed miserably with those expectations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by el_cid55 Great, comfortable shoe
These shoes feel great -- nice and snug without feeling tight or restricting. I run about four to ten miles about 4 or 5 times a week, on the streets and sidewalks. I didn't realize my previous shoes were uncomfortable until I bought these. They have good support and good cushioning also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ShaunKingston12 MOST COMFORTABLE RUNNING SHOE I HAVE
TRANSITION: Transition was pretty solid. It was a smooth ride overall. you can feel the boost foam assisting you as you propel your foot forward.
FIT: IMO, the ESM (Engineered Mesh) fit was a little bit better than the techfit upper. It's a more natural and comfortable material, and it doesn't give you that alangan feeling. When it comes to sizing, I went half a size up coz I have wide feet. No problem tho, it was comfortable.
CUSHION: It's my first time to try the Boost tech of adidas, and I have to say it is by far the best foam based cushion in the industry today. It does not have a break in period as compared to Nike's Lunarlon, meaning it's good to go right off the box. You won't feel pain in your foot, the first time you use it.
VENTILATION: Ventilation was awesome due to the mesh upper. You can literally feel the air on your foot as you run. No complains here.
SUPPORT and LOCKDOWN: Support I think was the weakest part of the shoe. I've had a few ankle slip along my run however it was compensated by a tighter lacing. This enabled the shoe to lock my foot down tighter and better.
OVERALL: The shoe was a game changer. It is by far the MOST COMFORTABLE RUNNING SHOE I HAVE. It's great for neutral and recreational running. I highly recommend this shoe!

LOVED the Boost 1 &2...went through 4 pair in the past year logging 30-50 miles/week depending on the season. Just bought the new ESM 2.0 and turned back after a half mile. Felt like I was running in sand. AWFUL SHOE. Also, the tape support at the front toe is beyond annoying. It rubs against the toes. waste of of money. Bring back the 2.0 or 1.0

Rated 1 out of 5 by tab93 Size is Way Off
I have purchased two pairs of these shoes and they are really amazing. The one problem I have is that the sizes are all screwed up. I normally wear a size 10.5 shoe size. I had heard that the shoes run small so I bought a size 11 (ordered it from adidas online) and the shoes is still way too small. I'm stuck with a brand new pair that don't fit and hurt my feet. I tried wearing them thinking that they would stretch out but they haven't. Buyer beware of the size of these shoes. In fact, order 2 sizes larger than you normally do if you buy them.
