The only visible fatigue was on the upper, which naturally showed wear after such extensive use. That is why I was genuinely happy to see the improvements in the newer version. The upper now feels noticeably more durable and refined while still maintaining the same comfort and fit that made me love the shoe in the first place. That kind of thoughtful improvement matters. Instead of changing the identity of the shoe, you strengthened the one area that needed attention while preserving everything that already worked brilliantly. Another reason I keep reaching for the EVO SL is because of how comfortable it feels throughout the day. I have worn it for runs, travel, long walks, airport days, and casual outings, and it performs equally well everywhere. It has truly become my go-to shoe for almost every occasion. The cushioning feels balanced and natural — protective without being overly soft, responsive without feeling aggressive, and stable without becoming bulky. The transitions are smooth, and the overall ride simply feels effortless. Most importantly, this is a shoe that makes me want to run more.
